Dr. Amin S. Yassin
Co-Founder & Development Economist
A leading Development Economist with a PhD from the University of Khartoum and a Master’s from the University of Sussex, Dr. Amin has over 30 years of experience at the Ministry of Finance. He has led Sudan’s SDG implementation at the UN and is currently preparing the country’s Third Voluntary National Review for 2025 (VNR2025-Sudan). His expertise is further shaped by over a decade coordinating economic programs with the IMF.
Mr. Ahmed M. Shoaib
Co-Founder & Legal Advisor
With a Master’s in Law, Ahmed’s distinguished career includes serving as a Legal Advisor for a plethora of now established companies. He currently serves as the Advisor to the Chairman and General Manager of the Sahel and Sahara Bank Group, providing NorTec with unparalleled expertise in law, finance, and governance.
Dr. Mariam O. El Khair
Co-Founder & Sustainable Finance Expert
A distinguished finance expert with a PhD, Dr. Mariam has a formidable track record leading major financial institutions. As a former Managing Director, she led her company to become a top-five firm in the Sukuk (Islamic bond) market. Now the Founder and CEO of an Oman-based consultancy, her expertise was pivotal in shaping regional policy when she was appointed as the National Consultant to develop Sudan’s official Blue Economy Strategy, adopted in February 2023.
